Our reunion events were as follows:
September 28th - a Friday night mixer in the Lake Ellyn Boathouse where it' was easy to circulate and enjoy old friendships and make new ones. 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. To see many more photos from Friday Night, click here.
September 29th - Saturday morning pancake breakfast sponsored by the Glenbard Boosters Club in the Glenbard cafeteria followed by a tour of the school. 7:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Homecoming parade. 10:00 a.m. The parade formed at 9:30 a.m. at Forest Glen School (Elm at Main streets). At 10:00 the parade went down Main to Crescent Blvd. to Glenbard. The weather was perfect. Rich Bowman got that '57 Chevy convertible (aqua and white with a continental kit) as our entry in the parade. A crowd of classmates (40 or so) (and spouses, of course) to walked with the car. We were an impressive sight!

Homecoming game. 1:30 p.m. Those York Dukes bettered our guys by a touchdown in the game's final minutes!
Saturday night dinner/dance at Glen Oak Country Club. There was an attitude adjustment (cash bar) at 7:30 p.m., buffet dinner 8:30 p.m., then dancing. The buffet line was long and slow, but the food was first rate when you got to it. To see more photos of Saturday Night, click here.
